Welcome to the one and only Fairview Art Club. Here you will find all the relative information about this great orginazation.
If you've attended fairview for any length of time, you will know that it can be a very desolate place; no windows, oddly shaped rooms, and blank walls are all commonplace. The Artclub is seeking to change all this. Through pillar painting, mural painting, and various other projects, we're making this school a more lively, more livable place to spend the day.

WHY JOIN?
The FHS Art Club is here for anyone who enjoys creating art in any style and medium. This is the place to freely express yourself and show off your appreciation for art! We hope to give you a chance to show off your abilities through the different activities planned throughout the year.
The most essential thing to remember is that no artistic talent is required!
History/ Activities done:
The FHS Art Club is a relatively new club started in the spring of 2005. Throught the year, we do many big and small projects and activities. Exs: We held art shows in the library that incorporated different themes. Last year, Art Club painted the first school Pillar, which is located in the Health room (731). The painted pillar, which includes a different seasonal theme on each side, is greatly appreciated by the students and teachers in the school. Art Club also created and decorated wreaths and made bangle bracelets.
Future Activities:
During the 2006 -2007 school year, Art Club plans to paint more parts of the school, including the pillars in the Student Center. We hope to continue holding art shows and doing craft projects. We also plan to fundraise more money for more activities!
Meetings:
Meetings are usually every other Wednesday during block lunch in room 853. The club will email you about each upcomming meeting.
